I said they were some of the strongest proponents of socialized medicine. The US Bishops pushed it for years until the abortion mandate was included.
In comparison there are a few snake handlers around.
Your comparison is faulty.
Too bad your libertarianism has already gotten you zotted on another thread.
“Your comparison is faulty.”
My statement is as true as yours.
There are fewer bishops than there are snake handlers.
“Thats right...priests are way down on the list so that makes it okay”
No, it doesn’t make it okay. Neither, however, is it right to use that stick to beat Catholics while giving everyone else a pass.
Untold numbers follow their lead. Not so with the snakers.
“The bishops are far more influential than the snake handlers, politically and otherwise.”
Hey, you said “the Catholics” support socialized medicine. I said all protestants are snake handlers. One statement is as true as the other, regardless of your perception of the influence of Catholic bishops.
“Untold numbers follow their lead.”
Really? Untold numbers? Hyperbole is not your friend here. My experience is that there are many more Catholics who oppose the rogue bishops on socialized medicine than who support them.
