In short,
The Lord Himself says: “You shall not make any tattoo marks on yourselves”.
Now I don’t see ANY wiggle room in that one.
It is CLEAR beyond any doubt, that getting a tattoo is WRONG, but people with tattoos can be forgiven.

Have you gotten around to reading the NEW Testament yet? It puts the 613 commands of the Law of Moses in proper context, with regard to New Testament believers in Christ.
I’d be willing to bet that you violate several of those 613 commands on a regular basis.
I don’t like tattoos and personally don’t think it is a good idea for Christians to get them, but your understanding of the Scripture is very flawed.
There is no prohibition of tattoos in the NT.
