It would be rude for me to speak for them.

Sometimes we HAVE to; when they are so reticent about posting stuff; but I do understand what you mean.

I find it odd that men can think they speak for the Lord and demand all things must pass through those men in order for it to be right with the Lord.

I truly enjoy this subject. What could be more important?

I suspect you have interesting thoughts about this. Please share.

Agreement, or especially disagreement, always lend enlightenment.

Her last post....

Although I have long believed her good intentions manifest themselves as a bad; and that she probably looks upon me with the same low favor as I do her; I am worried for her.

Do you know, is she alright?

Har!! Great reference.

They often do seem impossible to understand. That is not a Catholic failing so much as a human one.

Despite our insurmountable differences, the Church is a force for good on this planet(much like the Mormons).

>>God cannot die, yet Jesus did.<<

Jesus was also fully human apart from being God.

>>It was not the only occasion where God changed His mind. God promised He would never again flood the planet, and wipe out virtually everything.<<

And when was it that God again flooded the world after promising He would never again do it?

..apart from being God

The same, yet not the same.

And when was it that God again flooded the world after promising He would never again do it?

I do not know. When?

>>I do not know. When?<<

It was you who indicated God changed His mind after promising not to flood the world again.

Here’s your quote:

>>It was not the only occasion where God changed His mind. God promised He would never again flood the planet, and wipe out virtually everything.<< I was simply asking when He flooded the world after promising not to. You seemed to be saying He changed His mind so I was asking for evidence.

It was you who indicated God changed His mind after promising not to flood the world again.

I should have explained better.

God was so disgusted with humans that he chose (with the exception of Noah et al) to wipe the slate clean, and start over with the human race.

He so regretted that action that He changed His mind, and promised to never do it again. His regret was so great, and His will(mind) so thoroughly changed, that He promised us(puny humans) that He would never do it again.

Clearly, God has regrets. Humans provide those everyday. Any being that suffers regret, has a change of mind.

"It was you who indicated God changed His mind after promising not to flood the world again"

Not after, before. It was His change of mind prompted the promise.

I would love to see your evidence from scripture that He regretted that action. Or is that simply your take on it?

I have no idea. I think I remember her saying a lot of things where going on in her life right now, and can't spend as much time on FR.

Yup; but what about AFTER this planet?

HIS flesh merely died.

Much like ours will; should the Lord tarry.

As the Bible is constantly twisted to confirm any desired result, a more sincere conversation is enjoyed with those who are able to explain in their own words.

So yes, that is my take on it. Whether you believe it to be simple, well...

what about AFTER this planet?

Mom always taught me that if I was good, said my prayers at night, and ate my vegetables; that after this planet I would be in Heaven with God.
