I'm not sure he has any business humbling himself before a CofE cleric. But if the pope can do it, why can't I? I could head down to St. Andrews (which is as gay as today is long) and be blessed by their vicaress and I would be following the example given by the Bishop of Rome.
I think what people need to ask themselves is whether Pope Leo XIII would have allowed himself to be blessed in such a way.
