I think Parker Bros. or Milton Bradley produces them on a commercial basis. When I did that stint in retail they’d sit in boxes in the corner of the stockroom. None of the employees even wanted to touch them.

My sisters and I had one when we were little, and played with it a few times. We thought is was silly. I liked my magic 8-ball much better.

“merely misguided”
“How does this happen? Do we have a choice where we go after we die?”

Many souls are just “lost” after the death of their physical body. They are not evil or bad, they are just lost. Often they just continue to wander around not even realizing that they are dead. These souls are from people who lack religion or faith due to any number of circumstances.

Just today I removed the soul of a fetus of a miscarriage from a woman. It was locked onto her left shoulder. At first I didn’t tell her what it was as I did not want to shock her but the difference in her muscle tension and cramping in her shoulder and neck were so profound that she really wanted to know. She confirmed it after I told her what it was. I just guided it to cross over. It was not bad, just lost.

“A born-again Christian has the Holy Spirit within him and He has power over evil. John 4:4 - “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you (the Holy Spirit), than he that is in the world (satan).””

I think that is 1John 4:4 if I remember correctly

Had one a few years ago where a young couple, college age were using a Ouija Board and the became very scared at what came through.

A high school friend of the guy who had recently been killed in an auto accident came through. He instructed the guy to go to the auto of a friend of the deceased and his baseball mitt was still in the car. (Even told him where the car was parked) Get the baseball mitt and take it to his mother with the message that he loved her very much. (He also gave details of the accident)

This stuff is real... It’s too bizarre to make up. I helped a police chief and a state police homicide detective on a murder cold case. The details were so accurate they thought I had to have been involved. I had to tell them things about themselves that I would not have known in order to convince them. Described the murderer, the location and picked him out of a twelve photo lineup by looking at the blank back of the photo after the homicide detective laid them face down on the conference room table with me never seeing them. I don’t do that work as connecting with spirits that went through severe physical and emotional trauma is not a happy event. It is both physically and emotionally painful for me. Let the dead take care of the dead.

I was just stating what the RC needs to do a excorism. Not saying its wrong or right.
How many true processions are there you think? Most are people who are either crazy or driven by guilt form some past deed that consumed them.
I don’t doubt there is evil and Satan. But I think Satan is above parlor tricks. He is much too subtle for that sort of thing.

Something very similar happened with my uncle after his dad (my grandfather) died. He started having conversations with him and he knew things only my grandfather would know. My uncle was advised to ask him if Jesus was the Son of God. After hemming and hawing, "grandfather" started screaming and threatening and cursing nonstop until my uncle accepted Christ as his Savior.

I don't know who the high school friend was talking to, but I would bet money it wasn't his buddy.

What you say is correct. I did not add that to the story in order to not complicate the story with further lessons of importance. This is where discernment comes in. You get a “gut feeling” when you encounter an impostor.

Way back when I first started doing this work, I encountered two spirits that presented themselves as the grandparents of the woman I was working with. Their words were soft and loving, but my gut told me something was wrong. All of a sudden the words came out of my mouth (which I had never read nor heard previously) “Do you believe that Jesus Christ was born in the flesh?”

They replied, “We know Jesus.”

To which the voice said through me, “That was not the question.” and the previous question was repeated.

Immediately their blue eyes turned to black and them to red as their true nature as impostors was revealed. It was a very important lesson for me. Only later did I realize that the words uttered through me were verbatim 1John 4:1.

I add this post as I feel it may help some readers. I belong to an organization which does research into “spirituality & consciousness.” Some members prefer to limit the focus of the organization into specific topics such as “Near Death Studies” or “After-Life Studies.” This was my reply. Keep in mind, I am a Christian and accept the Bible as the word of God.

Allow me to say that there are many people within our organization that are very passionate about their area of interest. That is what makes this organization so great as I want to learn from them all. “Consciousness and Spirituality” as topics are like looking into a kaleidoscope in that with a slight twist the view changes into another beautiful design. While each specific view (topic) is equally beautiful and important; we do not want to lose our focus on how the kaleidoscope functions and continues to produce these beautiful perspectives. Can we change the lens, add more light or additional colors to gain an even greater experience? This greater perspective of the “whole” will allow us to tweak the parameters of our limited view of the “whole” into areas and perspectives that are now beyond our comprehension and lead us to a new greater experience of reality.

What is defined now as “Para Normal” is constantly being redefined as our increased understanding and knowledge removes the current “Para” and replaces it with a new “Para” even further down the road. It is my pleasure to be a part of an organization that continues to grow on this journey. In most spiritual paths there is a wisdom that states, “Do not be attached to where you are at as it may prevent you from moving up the path to an even greater reality.”(Heaven) “Be mindful of the moment but do not attach to it.”

It is my view that scientists and theologians have had this great debate in that science chooses to use materialistic reductionism as proof, while the theologians say that there is this greater reality that is beyond the physical and thus scientific reductionism does not apply. They say you must just believe and have faith.

You cannot gain the understanding of an automobile if you apply scientific reductionism only to the interior of the automobile. One must focus on the “whole” automobile and its environment. Do not eliminate scientific reductionism. Apply it to the greater perspective. If one stays inside the automobile and only examines it from the limited perspective you will always view that there is something or someone greater than the automobile that created and controls it. You must go beyond the physical limits of the automobile and view it from the greater perspective. It is the same with human consciousness. Spiritual growth provides an expansion of consciousness to provide a greater perspective of the “whole.” At this greater level of consciousness one can now apply scientific reductionism to a new reality which was viewed as mysticism from the lower perspective. This is why Einstein stated, “A problem is not solved at the level of consciousness at which it was created.” We must always strive to perceive reality from the highest level of consciousness available to us.

What scientists miss is that when consciousness is viewed from the greater reality of an awakened individual, what we now view from this limited lower level of consciousness as non-physical or intangible, suddenly becomes physical and tangible. A new “whole” is realized and a new “Para” or beyond normal reality is created. In Buddhism there is a wisdom that states, “You are only allowed to be aware of one level of consciousness above the level of consciousness at which you exist.” As you grow to a new level and increase your consciousness you then begin to perceive and experience that which we now call “God” and the awareness of an even higher greater level of consciousness comes into your reality. This is also an application of the concept of the “squaring of the circle” in sacred geometry. It’s the reason that Jesus stated in John 17, “My Father and I are One” as He surpassed the temptations of attachment at a lower level of consciousness, thus allowing Him to grow to the higher level of perception. Thoughts, stored memories and emotions become physical and tangible from the higher perspective thus allowing scientific reductionism to be applied at the new level of reality.

From this higher expanded perspective of consciousness you begin to perceive the reality that we are all “One Consciousness.” In many ways we are currently like the cells in the body thinking that we are all that exists from our limited perspective, not realizing that we are an integral part of the greater reality of a human body. When we increase our perspective to that of the “whole body” we suddenly realize that all of the individual cells exist within us.” We are all “One!” So it is with the levels of consciousness. We are not the drop of water in the ocean, we are the ocean from the greater perspective. Most people are stuck at the level of being the cell trying to perceive the body rather than becoming the body!

This is also the reason Jesus stated in John 5, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” That “raising up” or “Rapture” is merely the increased perspective of reality gained by growing to an increased level of consciousness. It’s the basis for the teachings of every enlightened teacher within every religion. It really is that simple.

My apologies for the ramblings. This topic has frustrated me greatly as I attend academic research presentations related to understanding spirituality and consciousness. They just don’t get it! But they will.

As you must know, the Ouija board is a divination device. A divination device is any object with which one attempts to contact the occult. An alternate state of consciousness is the doorway to the occult, whether it be by a board, biofeedback, hypnosis, phamachia, yoga, or any of hundred of techniques to attain an altered state of consciousness. It is dangerous and not silly in the least. It is forbidden in Deuteronomy 18. One would be wise to avoid such dalliances into the occult. Once one’s mind is in an altered state of consciousness it allows “another mind” to interpose itself, and create a whole world of illusion. Why should anyone want to hand their mind over to evil, just for kicks?

In seeking to know God better, a person must grow and experience what Paul refers to as “Dying Daily.” Part of that experience is to gain what is described in Psalm 23 relating to evil encountered on my path. It’s a journey, not stagnation with fear.

He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Just out of curiosity, do you follow all of the Laws in Deuteronomy? Or do you pick and choose?

I believe the resurrected, as did Jesus, will have individual eternal bodies. I believe Jesus is separate from the Father, they did talk to each other.

I do think every part of this physical creation reveals a spiritual truth about the Creator and the spiritual world and that after the destruction of this universe there will be a new heaven/earth. Anyway...Had to find this thread and share a link...

“I believe Jesus is separate from the Father, they did talk to each other.”

Please read John 17 on the point of “Separation” vs “Oneness.” We are in agreement, but that scripture adds much insight on this topic.

Not surprising. When my Uncle died, my mother went to the local parish with my Aunt to make the arrangements. The Priest cracked open the books and noted that there had been no contributions to the church in their family’s name and therefore, he would be unable to do the service. My mother flipped out on him because they attended regularly and put cash into the collection basket. They left the church and my mother called the diocese and unloaded on them. She then called our parish Priest who immediately agreed to perform the service.

As one judges, they too shall be judged.

I attended a funeral service at our local Catholic Church for the mother of a friend. The friend had been divorced and thus was not allowed to receive communion. For some reason that really angered me and I wanted to say “As one judges, they too shall be judged.” to the priest when he shook my hand upon departure. I did not say anything. I have great respect for the majority of the priests, but not all.

My mother in law was first in her Catechism class in the 1930’s, learning everything in Latin. She grew up very poor and did not have money to purchase a white dress, a necessary requirement for the service to join the church.

The priest would not let her join the church and she never did. To this day, at age 87 she never says the word “priest” without it being preceded by two expletives!

God’s Love is “unconditional.”
