//Were these people neo-Nazis, trying to persuade the Mormons of the virtues of fascism, I would feel the same. For it does not matter to me what Mormons are; because this is their business. What matters to me is that they keep their house clean of active evil//

But they didn’t and don’t. And are you aware that the LDS church SUPPORTED the Nazi’s and actually excommunicated a young man who spoke up against the Nazi’s?

And there is plenty of ‘active evil’ inside the Mormon church. Want examples?

BTW, my notions are based on being one for YEARS, not pre-conception. kthxbai

//The bottom line is that such people do not give a rat’s behind for “their” religion or supposed faith//

Wrong again. I know Kate and she really does believe in the church. She is correct about the sexism and women being second class citizens and it is because she love the LDS church so much that she wants it better for herself and others. So don’t attribute motives when you don’t know her.

What most people outside of Mormonsim do not get is that this isn’t like other churches with formal, trained clergy. Their ‘priesthood’ is open to boys starting at age 12. Their Bishops (read pastors) have no training and women are excluded from even the most basic things like helping with communion, standing in the circle for baby blessings, giving their children healing blessings - things women in Christianity are all allowed to do.
