Anybody in America who knows how to read should know that Catholics do not deify Mary. Luke 1:28 a verse Catholics rightly use to support her sinlessness. He might disagree with that interpretation but that verse exists.

Anyone who can read the Bible in context will know that Mary was a sinner and that Luke 1:28 does not teach that Mary was sinless as that would contradict Romans 3:23.
Catholics do deify Mary when they pray to her. Prayer is a form of worship. Hence catholics worship Mary.

Oh no, Catholics certainly DO deify Mary and pray to her. Don’t even pretend they don’t.
That being said, my disagreement is with the Church, not members of the church.
