I watched one episode of RWOC and the “apostle” denied the Trinity and the deity of Christ without even so much as a pause for effect. Is that normal or is it just peculiar to these particular weirdos?

It's hard to tell.

Not pastors of "seeker sensitive" churches.

I think that the bigger the church is, the more apt they are to “tickle ears” and not preach the Truth. Osteen is a prime example of that. He couldn’t exegete the Bible to save his life.
