How many hungry mouths can be fed with 300 million? It depends.
1. Mouths cannot eat money.
2. People were employed and paid for the work allowing them to feed their families.
3. The opportunity for good works by feeding the poor always remains with us. I'm reluctant to judge how someone chooses to redistribute the money for which they are responsible unless it involves immorality.
