The Vatican called on Muslim leaders to condemn the "barbarity" and "unspeakable criminal acts" of Islamic State militants in Iraq, saying a failure to do so would jeopardize the future of interreligious dialogue.

Jeopardize the future of interreligious dialogue?!! Anything but that! Muslims must be shaking in their shoes.

Now I see more reason why Pope Francis has persecuted the Franciscans of the Immaculate and has shut down their publishing house. The above passage was translated and published by the FOTI in 2002.

Yes, they were publishing nefarious materials. "Padre Pio: the Wonder Worker" also comes to mind. They had to be stopped for the good of the Church, as their traditional tendencies threatened the ecumenical dreams of modernist schemers. Modernist heads must really be spinning right now, with all the beheadings, crucifixions, blood drinking and five-year-olds cut in half. Will they finally be cured of their ecumenical delusions?

I really don't expect a modern Pope to call for another Crusade. But I wouldn't mind if they did. It's maddening. But they are the clerics. We are not. We need a really strong Catholic leader of ANY country to rally us. I doubt it will be the Pope.
