My heart breaks as I write this....as I have posted before....my daughter has been fighting Heroin addiction.
Yesterday....after entering sober living....she relapsed and OD'd. The medics brought her back....but we have no idea as to what to expect when we get to her....we are flying to her side as we speak...
Please pray for our daughter...pray for us...to allow for God's will and grace to find and cover her in His healing.
This was such a wonderful post to wake up to, PigRigger. Thank you for the update. I am absolutely delighted that your daughter continues to make progress and that things are looking up. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. Sending you and your family love, ((hugs)) and good wishes!

Been a while since my last update......but Amanda now walks without a cane....physically she is close to full recovery....God’s mercy and power have been overwhelming in their abundance.....
Amanda’s mind and soul are now the battle ground....
She has started out-patient rehab for her sobriety and to address her continued physical well being....
Please pray that God fills her heart and leads her....and she accepts and follows...and that my wife and I hold steadfast to His love and will....with strength and courage...

May the Holy Spirit fill and strengthen her for the battle.
Amanda will be entering a 12 month rehab Christian based rehab program tomorrow.....it will be very difficult to separate ourselves from her...but the need is great.
Please pray that our Lord tranforms and heals her soul....
It breaks my heart to let all of you know that my daughter this morning decided she no longer needs assistance....and has left to be on her own.
Please pray that God protects and provides for her as she walks her own path. Please ask God to fill her heart....

Sorry but not surprised to hear this. Addiction is cunning, baffling, and powerful, and commonly addicts declare themselves cured. Praying that Amanda stays away from drugs and knows how to get help if and when she needs it. Recovery is a lifelong process, one day at a time.

Oh God,We are going to start praying really hard.(((((Hugs)))))
I was witness to a miracle....through the prayers of God's faithful He raised my daughter to her feet...His grace, mercy and power awed and humbled me....and I am not easily awed....
Now my daughter wishes to dictate her own recovery....she has already relapsed...and refuses a treatment due to it being spiritual....even though all secular attempts have failed.
She has hardened her heart....and refuses to let those of sober mind or Godly thought near her....
I understand addiction changes a persons mind....but I feel there is more to this...
I also know it is God's will....and he hears are prayers...through faith, hope and love....He can move mountains....
I pray He performs another miracle this evening....and shepards a lost sheep home and closer to His unending love and protection.
