serious as a heart attack. a pastor who doesn’t understand the OT is full of types and shadows foretelling the coming of Jesus Christ, his sinless life and sacrificial death and the establishing of the eternal kingdom?

I would point you to John 10:11 and Revelation 21:4 to better understand Jeremiah 31. btw, staying in Jeremiah, 32:36-41, God promises to make an eternal covenant with Israel. has this promise been kept or is this yet to come?

I do understand that the OT is fullof types and shadows. I also understand that God has clearly said he would bring physical ISrael back into the land and in the end of days, would save them by revealing Jesus to them(Zech 12:10). As for the new covenant, remember that it is a new covenant with Israel and Judah Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: This promise has been kept, but the majority of israel has yet to realize it...
