Do a word study on the Greek and you'll find your assumptions are incorrect.

For that matter, read Romans and you'll find your assumptions are incorrect.

>>Full of grace.<<

The Greek text does NOT say Mary is "full of grace". That is a lie from the Catholic Church. It says " favored with grace". Now if you want to find someone that was said to be "full of grace" you can find that in Acts 6:8.

Acts 6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.

Does the Catholic Church also claim that Stephen was "without sin" or is there not only deceit but a double standard as well?

That still does not answer my question. I don not find the teaching to be false. So what are you going to do about it? Wiser people than you have believed the teaching, I side with them.

IF she had ANY sin on her soul she wouldn’t have been Full of Grace.

and she would have needed a Savior (Luke 1:46-47).

>>Hail Mary, full of grace<<

False. The Greek text says "favored one". Scripture does say that Stephen was " full of grace" but never does it use that for Mary.

A Roman Catholic asking if something is in Scripture. That’s funny!

What is your question?

Cognate: 5487 xaritóō (from 5486 /xárisma, "grace," see there) – properly, highly-favored because receptive to God's grace. 5487 (xaritóō) is used twice in the NT (Lk 1:28 and Eph 1:6), both times of God extending Himself to freely bestow grace (favor).

What's to you? That's my question. Why are you here banging Catholics on the head? We are not going to change our belief just because you say so.

So what's in it for you? You don't believe you have to do works to get to heaven, so why are you here? Plain enough?

Why is it funny if I’m trying to learn something? I thought maybe one of you could help me. Seriously, I have many questions, and I’m looking for real answers. I have done several years of interdenominational Bible study, and so far it leads me to ask more questions.

John the Baptist did have original sin, for he was born of Zechariah and Elizabeth, who were Israelites and descendants of Adam and Eve, but no personal sins whatsoever. John the Baptist never committed the least personal sin in his entire life, not even a single, semi-deliberate venial sin. John the Baptist never committed even the least of sins in his heart, mind, words, or actions.

I'm not "banging on catholics". I'm addressing any non-Biblical issue be it catholic, baptist, mormon, islam, etc.

If you believe you are saved by good works, how many do you have to do?

How do you know when you've done enough?

How do you know you've done the right ones?

“Your “version” of the Bible is different than the actual Bible”

But you are the one that uses a bible named for a mortal man. Now that’s funny. Show me where an original bible had King James’ name on it.

It's not you we expect to change. We post so those reading these threads can see the truth from scripture and not be led into error by the lies of the Catholic Church.

I'm asking you! What is in this for you? Stop asking me about my works. That has nothing to do with what I asked you. What is your motivation for addressing things you claim are not Biblical? By whose authority do you speak? Why would I go against everything I believe on the word of an anonymous poster on a political forum? I am really not trying to attack you or offend you. I am just trying to see why you guys come after us day after day. What motivates you? I am sincerely curious about this. .

“I really don’t understand why certain people find the Mother of Jesus Christ to be such a threat”.

Because Catholics hold her in such high esteem. You would not be a good protestant if you didn’t put down the mother of God.

Your truth? What makes you qualified to define truth? Which truth are you espousing and by whose authority? Your own? No thanks.

Luke 11:27-28New International Version (NIV)

27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”

28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Sort of like asking Henry Ford does he like the Model A? LOL.

Do they have a card they have to fill out? Bash the Mother of Jesus! Get a free Big Mac!

It's funny that they get so bent out of shape, daily!
