Bless you all for your prayers and encouragement. I hope you will understand if I cannot continue to post your comments on the parade article here. I will read them but cannot post them, I will send you an e-mail gratitude. I also hope you will understand if I cannot explain why it was removed.
I am a loyal son of the Church and I love my Archdiocese.
And now, within hours, he's explaining why it was removed. Quite a reversal.
Rather than mocking him, you should pray for him.
He is in the process of being crucified by the Lavender Mafia.
He needs our prayers and our support for what he is going through...and, if my suspicions are correct, what he is going to be going through.
(Some of you who aren't n00bs around here may remember what happened to Father Clark from Arlington a few years ago...)
If he removed it on his own initiative, there was no reason to say that he couldn’t discuss the reasons for its removal.
If, as is most likely, Dolan had a conniption, and Wuerl commanded Pope to remove it, Pope can still truthfully say that HE removed it because of its strong language. Yeah, strong language that enraged Dolan.
