This is being telecast this Sunday evening (9/14) at 10 PM EDT on TBN. It's anachronistic now, given all that has happened in the papal succession since the novel was written, and it also has the usual left-wing "It's OK to be a Marxist, and the Church is too rich" meme (and all that "cosmic Christ" heresy doesn't help), but otherwise it's an interesting look at the process of papal succession itself.
