Well, that’s wrong. I never heard of some of those reformers when I got saved so they have nothing to do with it.

It is readily apparent that that concept is simply beyond the comprehension of any Catholic, being raised as they are to trust in and follow priests, bishops, other leaders within the church, and of course, the pope.
While Catholics don’t seem to be able to understand it, not everyone else thinks like they do because not everyone has been indoctrinated like Catholics have been raised.
If you're devoted to Jesus then convert to His Church and eat His flesh and drink His blood as he commanded you to do.

And here it is. The radical individualism so prevalent in protestant thought. Religious and spiritual predisposition conflated with secular political ideology.
