“Believers have been provided authority over these evil spirits if we would only claim it”

To what extent? I’m familiar with the scripture that implores us to resist Satan, upon which he will flee, as well as the scripture which indicates angels are encamped around God’s followers.

However, remember that the angel originally sent to Daniel was thwarted for 21 days.

We are holding back, with the restrainer, the Holy Spirit working in and through us, until the time of the end, when both he and the Church will no longer do so,

Daniel was not a part of the called out ones, the Eclessia, and neither was John the Baptist,

Jesus said the Law and prophets were until John,

The Church is set on a pedestal and had been given more than is generally understood in denominational eschatology. Paul was blown away by what the Church has been given. Its origin, purpose and ultimate destiny is very different than to the promises God made to David, for which even unbelieving Israel benefits with the restoration,

Jesus came into the world as it is written and was rejected and cutoff with nothing,

The Church on this Earth (is) rejected right along with him, but we are brought alive into this physical Earth for now, and while Satan may have it for a short while until he is thrown out of Heaven in Revelation Chapter 12, it ultimately belongs to God and he will redeem it using the very Laws and Ordinances he brought himself into the world to save us with. He came to fulfill the Law not do away with it. This is for Israel, not the Church, we just happen to be alongside our bridegroom as this occurs,

But that same authority while rejected in the flesh operates in the spirit today, right now, and operates within us,

Not only for the time of the end and the spiritual warfare in this world where the Church on the Earth resides even if this is not our home. Jesus told us the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, but in Revelation we see something different happening,

But Jesus is coming to claim his vineyard that was stolen from him, his inheritance, just like it says in Isaiah Chapter 5 and just as he told the parable of the wicked tenets and I believe it will be adjudicated under the Jubilee process, and that is whats being shown to us with the Court in session in Daniel Chapter 7 and Revelation Chapters 5-6,

Before that time comes for the gentiles (brought to the full) we have been given authority, not over this flesh or this Earth where Satan has his power, but over what can be bound or loosed on the Earth operating in the spirit, that is against these evil spirits operating freely here just like what is empowering this ISIS evil and like this spirit coming against the people of Oklahoma, just like what is inhabiting that evil person in the White House, they are all one and the same, they all serve the same master.
