I’m really looking forward to this reboot. I read all the books and, while I felt the authors could’ve wrapped up the story much sooner, I did enjoy them. The 2001 movie was pretty disappointing, mainly because the lower budget didn’t allow for the grand scope needed. This new version will cut the first book in half, creating two movies. The first movie will deal with the rapture and its impact, which will give time for characters to be developed.

Does the movie state that if you vote for an abortion loving politician that your salvation is in risk?

If not, then how is a movie supposed to effect any thing?

I can’t see anything that the democRATs can do or have done that can shock the American people. It seems that about half of our jails contain former democRAT Mayors and such.

Why do you link to an article that has an ENTIRELY different title???

Why not just post the title used by the article???

Since you made up the title for some so called political point the answer is not only no but NO

There is a different conservative October surprise that everyone here should participate in. It is not particularly religious in character, but can make a fine complement to religious motivation.

It is based on the discovery that when Americans see the United States flag, it increases their feelings of patriotism for as much as two weeks. And feelings of patriotism *only* support conservatives and Republicans, *not* liberals and Democrats.

As such, it can most definitely tip close races in favor of conservatives and Republicans.

So this is what should be done. The flag(s) should be displayed for the about two weeks prior to mail in ballots going out. Then again for two weeks before the election.

More is better. Dollar stores often sell a dozen small flags on sticks for a buck. If you have a front yard, you can put on a big display of such flags for a couple of dollars.

And if some irate, hateful liberal starts trashing your flags, even better, because what do you think people think when they see a bunch of American flags trashed?

Most of them get a right royal rage. And before an election, this motivates like nothing else.

Display those flags!

more unsavory characters, have been taken in the “Sudden Departure”.

I think that would be a fact, and it almost makes me wish the rapture was actually going to happen...

Christ is not a wife-beater. He will not pour out His Wrath on His Church which is the bride of Christ. The concept of rapture is all through the Bible, translated as harpazo - a sudden snatching away - in the Septuagint. Harpazo is translated raptus in Latin. Thus, the English word "rapture".

I have seen some truly ridiculous contortions of Scripture by those who just refuse to believe that God would do this. So, they come up with some very flimsy arguments against it, when Occam's Razor would supply a better explanation - the Rapture is exactly what it seems to be: a snatching away of the Church by Christ Himself so that we may not be subject to His Wrath poured out upon the Earth during the Tribulation.

Believing in the Rapture is certainly not the defining point of Salvation. My belief is that even those who reject it, but truly know Christ, will suddenly find themselves face-to-face with Him in the air. Their joy will be unspeakable.
