In fact, all have official statements in support of reproductive choice as a matter of conscience, adopted by their governing bodies. . . I guess their 'governing bodies' don't include God!

I made my decision to resign my PECUSA membership long ago. This kind of continuing news keeps telling me I was right! I remain a member of the Church Apostolic and Universal, I just don't have a roof over it.
Anybody else of sufficient age to recall the old Rick O'Sheay Sunday Comic strip (Chicago Tribune and others) by Stan Lynde?

One time, I had a practicing Episcopal priest tell me he wasn’t sure if there was a God — true story. Mainline Episcopal priests are simply liberal social workers, nothing more.

So he is the priest of a congregation that commemorates “the most wondrous conception in history” but he supports an organization that is dedicated to (and makes tons of money from) making sure conceptions don’t take place or by terminating ones that do. How is that logical?
Unfortunately the ministry is often an opportunity for idiots to make an easy living.

As priest-in-charge at the Episcopal Church of the AnnunciationA church named for the announcement of a divinely-inspired unplanned pregnancy supporting the murder of unplanned pregnancies?
If it weren't so damnably horrific, it would be laughable. Then again, maybe it's laughable anyway: cf. Psalm 2:4.

Wasn't Joseph Fletcher, author of Situation Ethics where so much of the religiously-liberal heresy got codified, himself an Episcopal priest who decided there wasn't a God?

Yes, Fletcher was an Episcopal “priest”.

That is putting it mildly.
