I invite you to come back to the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church at any time. (Believe me, you will come back.)

Presuming you are referring to the Roman Catholic church or one similar to it, your invitation presents a real problem for non-Roman Catholic born-again believers and steadfast followers of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Former Roman Catholics and their families make up the greater number in our church assembly/congregation, many serving in leadership. Like me, they have been sealed by The Holy Spirit and are humbly thankful for their present and future relationship with God.

Your understanding presents a real problem for our church assembly, were we to accept it as true.

Which the RC resists admitting, thus the "you are still Catholic and will return to the Church" fantasy, just as they resist the reality that most of their members (at least in the West) are liberal, versus evangelicals , and so they say they are CINOS (Catholics in name only).

If the pope continues on the trajectory he seems to be on, they may excommunicate him.

They easily make up 3/4 of every Evangelical church I've ever attended regularly.

I don't think Catholics really have a clue as to how many of those in Fundamental and Evangelical churches are former Catholics. They would be appalled.
