It is logical and my only question, is the wrath we have today as a nation Gods wrath or is it brought on by our own stupid way of doing things? This is an interesting point. It isn't our "stupid way of doing things". Rather it is our rebellious nature to the things of God. Everyone does what is right in their own eyes. Thus you have people who find no problem in encouraging compassion for transgenders, yet those same people will denounce Christians as being intolerant bigots.

You are right but considering we have been warmed for hundreds of years I still think stupid fits real good.
