The Romans didn't believe all that much in what St. Paul was saying about Jesus because Paul hadn't known Jesus as an Apostle, so he sent for Peter. THAT did the job.

So, let's see...

The Romans didn't believe Paul who was a very well educated and respected Roman citizen. So Paul sent for Peter who was under-educated (by Roman's standard), a unknown Jew, and a fisherman. This "did the job".

Well, at least that's tradition. And they say Protestants like to interpret things.

Well they sure do. Otherwise there wouldn't be 30,000 different Protestant denominations. Sorry Harley, that number is only a Catholic version. The Protestants themselves say that the number is 40,000. Google it yourself; I didn't make that up.

Hey, it's "diversity." Isn't that the buzzword these days?
