If you have not personally attended a mass you would not know what it is actually like.

I don't have to catch Ebola to know I don't like it, now do I? Many will say that is over the top, but if the Roman Catholic Church is really what we believe, spiritually I am spot on.

I have found that to be similar in nature to the assumptions of some Christians who have no personal experience with Jewish assemblies.

But in my case at least, I have attended Roman Catholic houses of worship during a variety of observances on several occasions. Found there to be a very hocus-pocus atmosphere.

Is it a sin for you to attend either Catholic or Jewish assemblies ?

Attend? Probably not. Participate? Probably. But the Roman Catholic Church forbids my full participation anyway, so not sure where you are going with that.

What is(are) your alternative denomination(s) for one holy catholic apostolic church, if you exclude the Catholic Church ?

And if it is not what you believe ? Look again at John 17 and 2 Corinthians 5 and ponder what it means of what you assume about the Catholic Church was wrong.

  1. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

  2. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
