So, I am aware of the obvious sins of this age and it involves all ten of the commandments. It’s the gray areas of life that will catch many off guard. This is a tricky age.
I ask God to forgive me for being stupid, too. Often I don’t even realize, until the benefit of hindsight, that I messed up. One thing is for sure. I will be messing up to one degree or another, in my own hind sight and in His sight.
I believe Jesus when he named God merciful. He knows the conditions His people are up against. He knows the intentions and condition of our hearts. That is the only hope I have...I’m such a mess from His point of view. I hope He has mercy on all Christians...even liberal ones. It’s a fine line to walk being tender hearted yet not bled to death and sucker punched by evil.
Amen and I count myself among the gray.I once worked with a holy Priest who used to give many retreats. He said to us he had thoughts that came into his mind and he didn’t even know where they came from. They weren’t bad thoughts but he was trying to focus on God.God knows we love Him
