WASHINGTON – A woman who proclaimed the name of Jesus Christ during the first-ever Islamic Jumaa prayer gathering at Washington’s National Cathedral was ejected from the building on Friday.

“Jesus Christ died on that cross over there,” the unidentified woman declared as she stood in the front of the room. “He is the reason why we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our lord and savior!”

A man nearby immediately approached her and attempted to reach for her arm, but she pulled away.

“We have built, and allowed you here in mosques across this country,” she continued. “Why can’t you worship in your mosque, and leave our churches alone?”

Another man approached as she was speaking and began to escort her out.

According to reports, the woman made the declaration immediately following the opening announcements that commenced this afternoon.

Before you depart, will you be so kind as to reply to my original question: What is your understanding of John 14:6 (the very words of Christ, Himself) in relation to the belief-tradition of the Jews?

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (St. John 14:6)

Same type of rudeness displayed by our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus when He overthrew the tables of the moneychangers. Another crown in heaven awaits her.

God has a plan. They are His people despite your contempt.

Go find someone else to join you in anti-semitism. There's plenty of them around.

Adios.

The passage doesn’t have anything to do with tradition.

It directly addresses the relationship between God and man.

Sorry, but I think she was rude.

She was. At least as polite Westerners understand the term "rude". However, we're dealing with a "rude" people whose party piece is beheading "infidels".

Take a good look around the world and see what being "polite" to Muslims does for you. How has that worked out for the Christians in Iraq and Syria who simply went about their business for 2,000 years?

We're in a war with the "religion of peace".

One day a jihadist will thrust his scimitar to your throat and scream "convert or die".

Then you'll learn the true meaning of being "rude".

Why do you accuse her of being wrong?

:: The passage doesn’t have anything to do with tradition.::

CVCENGER — your reply is an equivocation.
You and DJ MacWoW are avoiding the steadfast confession of Faith. I’ll break it down...

If anyone denies the Christ, will he/she obtain the promise of eternal life in Heaven; yes or no?
Is this or is it not the true interpretation of Christ’s very words in John 14:6; yes or no?

Corollary: Are there worship traditions that deny the Christ? What are they named?

There is no need to read into Scripture.

Joh 14:5-31
(5) Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
(6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(7) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
(8) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
(9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
(10) Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
(11) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
(12) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
(13) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
(14) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
(15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
(17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
(18) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
(19) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
(20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
(21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
(22) Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
(23) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
(24) He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
(25) These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
(26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
(28) Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
(29) And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
(30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
(31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

This has nothing to do with anti-Semitism. Don’t bring that into the discussion. Too many Christians have been brainwashed to think that speaking the Truth = anti-Semitism.

Then get angry at the cathedral for allowing them to hold the service there. Running in a disrupting the service once they had permission to do so, is nuts & rude.

It is rude. You're correct. However the Muslim presence was "rude", too. Even more so. Not verbally, of course but by their very presence in a Christian Church which is in itself a statement and a provocation. Rude by their own standards also, since Christians are seldom if ever invited into mosques to pray to Jesus seeing as we're infidels. Yes, the apostate Episcopalians who invited them were in the wrong but Muslims have little to no sensitivity to Christian feelings about their places of worship and were more than happy to walk in.

It’s the same thing the Left does - we shouldn’t stoop to their obnoxious level.

Let me help you.

The woman is a Christian and is in her own "home" so to speak. Christian defense of Christian churches is not comparable to homosexual activists like Code Pink invading Christian churches. She's protesting the presence of intruders.

Muslims (and Code Pink) are the intruders.

I'll tell ya what, I never said the Jews were saved. What I said is:

The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is the same God we worship.

Islams god is not.

The two cannot be compared.

Sorry, but I think she was rude. She should have protested or picketed outside.

Sometimes it's good to be rude...I'd have been right beside her if I could have...

We’ve come full circle. You started out right. You ended up right. But you had to be distracted, because you were mopping the floor with the muslim convert. Not to worry. The truth shines through. Good job!

What would Jesus have done? I”ll tell you: Thrown their mocking asses right out the door like he did to the money changers in the temple.
