I think it would be right to do so. In fact, at some level, because they don't view Jesus Christ as part of the Trinity, Jews don't worship the same God as Christians do. I'm pretty sure a Jew would agree that Christians don't worship their God.
And I would agree with some Jewish woman to criticize a bunch of Christians that tried to hold a service in a synagogue.
And she is right - as a nation we make no prohibition on lawful worship, and they have their own places of worship. And a Christian church should be kept Christian. While this is the “National” Cathedral - I am guessing that somewhere in it's charters, or at least in tradition, it is a building for Christian worship.
Jews and Christians worship the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
