At that time, parents who had children in the religious life, especially the priesthood, were considered specially blessed by God, even guaranteed heaven.

I remember that from growing up. It was still believed even in the 60's.

My father was a drunk and it’s because he was a Catholic. My brother was a drunk and it’s because he was a Catholic. I was a drunk and it’s because I was Catholic. I knew a priest who was a drunk and a fornicator. Catholics worship Mary. Catholics worship statues of Mary. Catholics follow rules. Catholics don’t know Christ. Blah blah blah. Yada yada yada.

Move on folks, this is a former Catholic website.

Don’t we have enough of them here on FR?

Very powerful testimony...A couple of things are certain...This Lady would never give up what she found thru the scriptures and return to the Catholic church, as we all know...

AND, a non Catholic who gets saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ could never become a Catholic, as we all know...

“My oldest brother, Francis, now age 76 remains a Catholic priest – he has dedicated his life to the Virgin Mary. “

Really?

No name given. Who is this Catholic — still a Catholic, even though not a practicing one?
