Looks like a paraphrase of Exodus 22:21...
Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Exodus 22:21

“Do no wrong to a man from a strange country, and do not be hard on him; for you yourselves were living in a strange country, in the land of Egypt.”

Exodus 22:20

I don’t know those verses but I do know the Bible says the poor you will always have with you and if a person won’t work he should not eat. I guess neither of those are pc in today’s world.

Completely incorrect reference from mosaic laws

http://biblehub.com/exodus/22-21.htm

Douay-Rheims Bible
Thou shalt not molest a stranger, nor afflict him: for yourselves also were strangers in the land of Egypt

The Marxist should stick to violating american laws, not divine laws

Yes, it is in the old testament. And the repub controlled committee found them all clear of any benghazi wrongdoing. So maybe its time we all pull back from the cliff and realize everything we here on here is not always true. And stop driving this towards civil war.

Related Matthew 25:43. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

Either way, there are those who know Scripture and those who quote Scripture, not always the same.

Gotta love the attempt at selective application of Biblical verses (which the Left loves to do when it suits their purposes). The Bible also teaches marriage as being for a man and a woman, that it is ‘detestable’ to God for a man to lie with a man, and that it’s a blessing to be Israel’s friend.

Oh, and there’s the abortion thing.

Google “Obama Speech Scripture.”

It took about two seconds to find it. Faster than posting a vanity to have others do research for you.

I love this, from Congressman Louie Gohmert (regarding 0bola’s selective Scripture quoting)....

“Scripture tells us that we shall not oppress a stranger, for we know the heart of a stranger – we were strangers once, too,” Obama said in his televised address from the White House. He was referring to Exodus 22:21, in which the ancient Israelites were commanded to treat aliens among them with respect, since they, too, had only recently been in their shoes.

“Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt,” the King James Version reads.

But Gohmert, a Texas Republican, held up his own Bible Thursday during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.” “If you just go over to the next column, maybe he hasn’t seen these verses,” Gohmert said before reading from Exodus 23:1-3 in the Holman Christian Standard Bible:

“You must not spread a false report. Do not join the wicked to be a malicious witness. You must not follow a crowd in wrongdoing. Do not testify in a lawsuit and go along with a crowd to pervert [justice]. Do not show favoritism to a poor person in his lawsuit.”

“This man is showing favoritism,” Gohmert said, “and he’s lying about Congress.”

I knew I could count on my FR people to find the answer! Went to Exodus 22:21 and the verse before it needs to be included for understanding the context:
…20”He who sacrifices to any god, other than to the LORD alone, shall be utterly destroyed. 21 You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
22 You shall not afflict any widow or orphan.…”

Quoting scripture for the wrong reason is no more honorable than misquoting it.

There is also the story in history of the Trojan horse which the Islamic extremists are using to get into this country.

The Trojan horse is also being used to promote homosexuality and abortion.

It is used in the schools from kinder garden through college to transfer this nation from a nation under God to a nation of atheism.

So we need to take what the Bible says very seriously but we also need to recognize the difference between a stranger and an enemy.

It is not the President`s job to decipher the Bible because he is not a king, it is his job to obey the law of the constitution.
