It’s a small world, left that other site.
One of my high school classmate’s father passed away recently. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He was about 18 or 19, a sailor, who witnessed the attacks and was part of the cleanup, which was not pretty.
My Dad was in the pacific during WW2, and had some stories to tell as well.
“not pretty” is quite a euphemism.
