I think he thinks most of the people there will be saved and in a moment of exuberation basically said we’ll all be up there together. I think the real problem on threads like this is that there’s such an effort to try to get him, that his words are given the worst possible interpretation.
He didn’t say “most”; he said “all of us”. Don’t blame the people who quote him verbatim, they are not “interpreting” him; blame the fool who babbles such nonsense.
