Oh, is that the church which boasts it has 2 Billion members? Doesn't sound to me like the "few chosen" are found there. And what TRULY would be very sad is if someone STAYED in a church they were baptized into as a baby and NEVER accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior because they thought they only had to do what they were told and "be good" and they would make it to heaven.
... !.3 billion...out of how many people in the world...
everyone is Baptized into the Catholic church and most follow the religion for a lifetime. When you receive the Sacrament of Baptism, you indeed accept Christ as your Savior...you later acknowledge that acceptance in the Sacrament of Confirmation.
What is a Sacrament, you ask...it is an outward sign, instituted by Christ to give Grace.
Doing what you are told and being good goes a long way to fulfilling your obligation to not sin and follow Christ....do we do it perfectly, of course not, that's why Christ instituted the Sacrament of penance or reconciliation. See how many benefits that Catholicism has, and we also have the Holy Eucharist...another Sacrament instituted by Christ through which we receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, under the appearance of bread and wine....the poor protestants gave all that up because they ignored Christ's command to DO THIS in memory of Me........very sad!
