Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven
Hallowed be Your Most Holy Name!
How We Long For Your Kingdom,
How We Wait For Your Will to be Done,
Here on earth, as it already is, in Heaven!
You Know Us Inside and Out,
And We Can Hide Nothing From You.
Teach us that Prosperity alone is not enough.
Open the eyes of those in Power,
that they might seek You.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

We see some more of Abram's "bargaining with God" in this passage, and believe me, there is MORE of that to come! We are astounded at his audacity in the presence of the Almighty!

As we continue to look at Abram and Sarai, we see their faith growing. Instead of scheming to do God's work for Him, they chuckle at the thought of a ninety year old woman giving birth (and probably what had to occur before that could happen!). Their laughter is forever enshrined in the name God chooses for their son, which means the same as "hahaha" or even "LOL".

This is a pivotal moment for this elderly couple, as God changes both of their names, adding the "H" sound to make it AbraHam and SaraH. The "H" is also the main letter in the Name of God (YAHWEH) and symbolizes the Breath of Life. The word for "Spirit" in both Hebrew and Greek (Ruach and Pneuma, respectively), also mean "Wind" or "Breath". (We get the words "Pneumatic" and Pneumonia" from the Greek word). For some scholars, this name change was indicative of God making Abraham and Sarah His Own, and filling them with His Spirit.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
