Because a lot of people are looking for a gospel that does not talk about the problem of sin and judgement. A gospel that does not talk about Jesus and His sacrifice. Then there ain't a Gospel.

Yup. The Bible is not about "get rich now" schemes for christians. It is not about about giving for the sake of getting wealthy. It does not promise job promotions/ fame and fortune for christians.
