The problem is that the article addressed NONE of the arguments. It merely begged the questions.
When I read these threads I thank God I'm Eastern Orthodox and not skewed by the bizarro theology of St. Augustine. The concept of Original Sin as expressed here (and by Roman Catholics) is neither traditional nor biblical. My daughter died as an infant. She committed no sin. She died because all of nature, every atom and every quark and every space became mortal when Adam sinned, not because it was "for the glory of God," or "God's plan" or because she sinned. God's plan for us was far different.
We all have a CHOICE: to face God and receive Him in His love, or face away from Him and not receive the Grace of God, which he gives to all, not just to Presbyterians and other followers of John Knox.
