Ahhh, Mary the Great Forgiver:

MARY, MOTHER OF FORGIVENESS

When Jesus was hanging on the cross and saw His apostles and disciples desperately in need of being forgiven and giving forgiveness, He told Mary to be the mother of all His disciples, [No, he told John behold your Mother so he would take care of her] represented by John. He told all of us to accept Mary as our spiritual mother. Mary is a minister of reconciliation [Formerly the job of Jesus](see 2 Cor 5:18) who will help us accept God's grace to forgive.

Mary is "Our Lady of Sorrows." However, she has been given a pre-eminent part in God's plan of salvation not merely through her sufferings but also through her loving forgiveness for those who have caused her Son's sufferings. Mary is the "Mother of Forgiveness." She prayed with her tortured and crucified Son: "Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing" [Not found in scripture](Lk 23:34). She forgave each of us for our part in murdering her Son. This made it possible for her to obey the dying Jesus' command that she be our mother (Jn 19:26-27). Mary is the "Mother of the Church" because she is first "the Mother of Forgiveness."

Addressing Mary as the "Mother of Forgiveness," ask Mary to be your mother and to pray for you. Promote devotion to Mary under the title of "Mary, the Mother of Forgiveness." Pray the novena of "Mary, the Mother of Sorrows" and invite others to do the same. Pray the following prayer:

"Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I ask for the willingness to forgive and the grace to forgive immediately all who have sinned against me. On Calvary, You gave Mary the grace to forgive me for my part in killing her Son. Then you gave Mary the grace to become my mother (Jn 19:26-27).

Mary, Mother of Forgiveness, may I forgive others as you forgave me in imitation of your Son. Mary, take my hand and lead me as I decide to accept God's grace to forgive (name the person) for (name the sin), etc.

Jesus, thank You for giving me Mary, 'Mother of Forgiveness' to be my mother.

'Mary, Mother of Forgiveness,' pray for me."

This account is not in Scripture.

No where in the Bible is Mary ever referred to as our spiritual mother.

No where in the Bible is Jesus ever telling Mary to be the mother of His disciples. This must be where the rcc title, "queen of the apostles" for Mary originates.

So instead of Peter being the "lead" disciple, it's John instead?!

Catholicism is now erring in a huge manner. They are corrupting the text to make it fit their narrative of worshipping Mary.

This is how it is in Christianity. John 19:25-27

....But standing by the cross of Jesus were His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” 27Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour the disciple took her into his own household.

Now, if the above misinterpretation of scripture isn't enough, catholics continue to double down on their version of Mary.

Mary is a minister of reconciliation (see 2 Cor 5:18) who will help us accept God's grace to forgive.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in Scripture to support this assertion from catholicism.

From 2 Corinthians 5:16-21. I've included the verses just before and after for context. The reader will note there is no mention of Mary in this passage.

16Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.

17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

I pray catholics come out of the darkness of deception they are in and come into the light of Jesus Christ, Savior of the World.
