It is accepted by astronomers, astrophysicists, geologists, archaeologists, paleontologists, geophyscicists, etc. It is accepted in fact, by the entire scientific community except Left Wing Climatologists.

It is so simple, that Al Gore could understand it. In short, the Earth's climate varies because the angle it presents to the Sun varies, as does Earth's distance from the Sun. As science advances, all of these positions can be 'easily' quantified.

To discuss Global Warming or Cooling with no reference to this now standard set of measurements is patently absurd, yet the Left, in its dominance of media and academia has made sure that the absolute basics of climate change remain a well-hidden secret in popular discussion.
