I think the major issue was the not being allowed to challenge any of his false teaching.

It’s one thing to post something and allow for discussion.

It’s another to use FR as a sounding board to promote any and all kinds of doctrines and stifle discussion that would challenge it.

I don’t see the purpose of FR as that of promoting unchallenged, any kind of teaching someone wants.

If it’s true, it can take the heat and prove it’s worth.

If it’s not true, there is value in exposing it and not allowing discussion prevents that.

I am under the impression there are other Religious Threads that are not open to “Discussion”?

Therefore, I see no reason why these types of threads should not be afforded the same type of protection.

You were always welcome to post something Mr. Osteen had said from a news standpoint and comment on his beliefs and teachings in that manner.

I think, for whatever reason, the rules changed today, and it was open season on Vision. But you can rest assured there will be no shortage of other religious threads, even those you cannot “discuss”.
