Everything you say is true but sometimes cancer cannot be beaten. My first wife had an absolutely clear mammogram in January of 1997 and a walnut sized tumor removed in December of 1997. A growth to that size in that time is beyond any expectation. She fought like a pissed-off Marine for six years but died in my arms. She had surgery four times, radiation 30 times, at least five different courses of chemo and was seen by some of the best oncologists in the country.
Never give up or lose hope but sometimes Goliath wins.

I had a clear mammo this year. Didn't do me a bit of good, as I had stage 1 cancer (found with a biopsy days later) Three months later, it had gone to stage 3, very aggressively. invasive, triple negative. Second time in two years except that last time it wasn't triple negative. Different cancer in the same place.
You sound very brave, I know you're not going through what we go through, but your words (here and I read your page) show that you are very brave too. You deserve a ribbon all your own. I am glad for you and for your daughters that you've balanced your life and accepted love again.
