When I read it... I don't believe she is saying that it is a new revelation that we should all go to the zoo and drink coffee. I read it that she is saying we should all have what she calls "sabbath moments". Where we take time out of our lives and spend it with God, even through out the week. That often we need to get away from our daily things that drag us down and spend those times with God. I personally think that can be supported in Scripture. What I have read from her both here and other places, that I disagree with, is she often gives her little names "sabbath moments" that may be catchy or sell books to things that most christians have been doing a long time already.
I can't believe I'm arguing for Beth Moore. She very well may say things that I theologically disagree with. I just didn't see a real problem with what I read. But maybe I'm missing it?
Like I say... I'm not an ardent Beth Moore fan. I'm probably neutral.

My wife has done many of Beth moore's studies, she just read this article and says it's really not giving a fair presentation of her in any way. She's telling me the article is wrong, not giving an accurate idea of what Beth Moore does at all. She is teaching how to apply scripture to women and that's what she's doing, and she does it fairly well. She NEVER claims she is giving a new revelation, if you hear the video, it's clear she's NOT doing that.
The problem with the article is that it shows NOTHING of any substance that she is in contradiction to scripture. Nothing.
The examples cited are silly, nothing but nit picking for no good reason. It appears the author is suggesting there is no Holy Spirit. Is he suggesting that the Holy Spirit does not indwell a believer, come along side them, or lead them to truth? If so, he may want to reread the Gospel of John.
If he is, and it sure appears he is saying that, then it's he who is misleading the church.

Well I agree that the point she was making could be derived from Scriptures. The question is why did she not do that then. Seems to me these self proclaimed prophets put themselves on par with the NT apostles. Not even close. The apostles backed up their words with the Power of God.
If this lady performs miracles for the Glory of God's Gospel, we should take note. Until then, she is just another self proclaimed "profit."
