If he had been a faithful believer in Christ, I doubt he would be so popularized and emulated by unbelieving culture.

Can you believe all the dreck being posted on this thread? I had no idea FR had so many secular humanists!

LOL!
I appreciate your defense of 'orthodox Christianity'. And I agree with you. Except I call it 'Christianity', and the word 'orthodox' is not necessary.

But what you wrote is correct. If you reject the Christian 'dogmas' that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin (God manifest in the flesh), died on the Cross for the sins of His people, rose again on the third day, and ascended into Heaven and now is King interceding on our behalf at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again 'And there will be given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, will serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed'. .. If one rejects these basic points - one is not a Christian.

Many have tried to turn our Lord Jesus into a philosopher, or a teacher -- these are not Christians.
