Francis welcomes in private audience same-sex "couple": transexual "former woman" and "wife"

Spanish periodical Hoy reveals the private meeting in the Vatican of "Diego" Neria Lejárraga, a woman from Plasencia, Spain, and her "wife".

Excerpts:

The Blessed Encounter between Francis and Diego

The Pope welcomed Saturday in the Vatican a Plasencia native who has felt outside the Church since he [sic] was submitted to a gender-reassignment surgery ...

"I would have never dared before, but with Pope Francis, yes; after hearing him in so many interventions, I felt that he would listen to me." Diego Neria Lejárraga is a 48-yearold native of Plasencia [Western Spain], who was received on Saturday [January 24] by Pope Francis in a meeting that was strictly private - as so many of the Holy Father - in his residency of Santa Marta, in the Vatican, at 5 p.m. An exceptional moment for any believer, for thousands of citizens around the world, and unique in the life of Diego. Because now his spirit is in peace.

...

Since the person who he loved most in the world, his mother, "the soul of my life", asked him not to change his body while she lived. "And I would wait a thousand and one lives for her." He took care of her during the last years of his life, and, one year after her death, when Diego turned 40, he finally took the step: he contacted a plastic surgeon and started changing his body. ...

Diego asked the Holy Father if, such as he is today, following his gender-reassignment, there is any place in the house of God for him. And Pope Francis yesterday [Saturday] embraced him in the Vatican. In the presence of his wife [sic], with whom he will form a family soon.

Today his spirit is in peace.

Pope Francis does not care about making sense. He cares about being photographed hugging people.

The Pope is now on record:

If you get your body mutilated, and have sex with someone of the same sex, you are a “family,” and a “practicing Catholic.”

What is going on? If a Catholic woman is surgically altered to look (and somehow perform) as a man, is she-now-he a Catholic man with all the rights and privileges pertaining thereto?

Since it's impossible to "surgically alter" chromosomes, it's impossible to change one's sex. The Pope met with a pair of lesbians posing as a normal couple.

“What message should we take from this? “

..that Diego could be a future Pope?

I was hoping you mackerel snappers would hold the line. I think you need a new Pope ASAP, and not Diego either.

Pel, times they are a-changin'.

No longer does the rhetorical question, "Is the Pope Catholic?" get a really easy answer.

However, the word from Maine is that, "Bears still defecate in bosky dells." So, maybe all is not lost. That is, as long as the Pope stays out of the woods.

Guess she can become a priest. I read about a transexual who became a nun.

We don’t know what he said to her. I assume he told him her she was welcome in the church. From your link, I assume she can’t get married in the church.
They’re going to “start” a family? Don’t know what to say about that.

I misread it about starting a family. It said when she marries her betrothed, they’ll form a family.

No Catholic in his right mind can defend Francis. Francis insults and puts down believing practicing Catholics (eg., “Rabbitgate”) while he embraces perverts and assists such enemies of the Church as population “experts” and Obama and Castro.

So it begs the question. Did Francis approve of his mortally sinful sex change and his upcoming "marriage"? Because if he didn't, I'm not sure how this "man" would have his spirit in peace.

It is my understanding that since Marriage is a Sacrament in the Catholic Church it requires proper form, matter and intention. The proper matter would be a MAN and a WOMAN as designed by GOD. So, the Church should not allow them to get married and that is the answer you would get unequivocally before Vatican II. Now, with Francis at the helm, who the heck knows? Perhaps he’ll make some sort of exception in Church law along with communion for adulterers.

Good question. It doesn’t seem so as “his spirit is at peace” and “he” still plans on marrying “his” “wife” and “having a family”.

Check out Leviticus 19:15. God commands us to judge others, but with the benefit of the doubt.

“Do not do injustice in judgement; do not show favor (lit. lift up the face of) the poor nor show honor to the face of the rich; you should judge your neighbor justly / righteously.”

In answer to your question: I am now about 99% convinced that Pope Benedict XVI was forced to “retire” so that this guy could take over. The whole thing just stinks to high heaven (literally). This is probably why Bergolio refers to himself as “Bishop of Rome.” He knows he is not legit.

There’s not enough information in this article to determine exactly what was said to this confused person and the “wife”.

An embrace (a physical hug) is not the same thing as saying “way to go, now your marriage is valid”. Francis, being the “pastor” that he is and has carried over into his pontificate is surely going to embrace this poor soul along with any hurting soul. But this isn’t the same thing as approving of the sin.

And just because “he” said “I’m at peace now” doesn’t mean anything either. Maybe “he” actually had a good Confession with the Pope and realizes the error of “his” ways.

We just don’t know what was said. I’m no great fan of him anymore but I’m definitely going to wait until and unless he publicly says gay “marriage” is ok and/or gender reassignment surgery is “ok”. It literally must be that blunt for me to be concerned about the Papacy and the Church.

The Church has endured the likes of Borgia Popes in the past. I think she can endure a 21st century feel-good Jesuit.

"Transsexualism" is a trojan horse deployed by modernists to attack the teachings of Christ. Their end goal is "sacramental" homosexual "marriage". The Pope deliberately arranged and publicized this meeting with the "transsexual" and "fiancee". The glaring absence of any type of rebuke of their objectively sinful lifestyle (in contrast to the harsh public harangue he recently directed toward the selfless Catholic mother) effectively conveys acceptance of their behavior.
