SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. The Supreme Court of California has unanimously voted to ban judges in the state from working with groups such as the Boy Scouts of America due to their stance on homosexual behavior.

California is totally lost. Hell on Earth!
Fithy, perverted, liberal politcs. A totally corrupt judiciary in the rotting state.
What is their stance on judges who are Catholic?
How does this square with the right of association guaranteed by the Bill of Rights?
You can’t do this. It’s illegal.
this is akin to putting the boy scouts out of the igloo to die during a blizzard.
how very civilized california has become/
More importantly, what does the decision mean? Is it merely advisory or can a judge be removed from office for working with the Boy Scouts?
I don’t see how this can be legal.
Tolerance, acceptance, ratification, cooperation, participation.
As Ann points out, "participation" may seem surprising/unlikely -- but she defended the statement well. And we see here another example: working with the Boy Scouts will be frowned upon -- thus, for professional advancement, one will be forced to volunteer ONLY with groups that actively support homosexuals. THAT'S participation.
This strikes me as a violation of the right to peacefully assmble (1st amendment) and is very close to violating Article VI paragraph 3 (no religious test):
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
"Illegal"?
Wha' dat mean?
Whatever happened to Freedom of Association?
Does anyone else think we’re inching towards another shooting civil war?
Today
It doesn't, but they don't care...
the infowarrior
I think it’s unstoppable. I really do.
satanic
The Supreme Court of California just eliminated freedom of opinion for judges in the state. Is it possible to have freedom of speech without freedom of opinion?
