After reading this I realize that the problem with the author’s entire premise is that God, as defined by Catholics, does not work in earthly time.
For example: If Jesus died for our sins, How could he die for sins that were yet to be committed? Since he suffered already 2000 years ago, why should I worry about my own sins, since his suffering is over?
You may wonder why I bring this up? I was taught that every time I sinned, I was adding to the suffering of my Redeemer. Was that a bunch of foolishness? Yet, I accept it as truth because God is eternal and to him, our earthly time does not constrain him. If I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, then I must also accept responsibility as part of the human race for the my sinfulness and ask for his forgiveness.
Is God omniscient or not ??
What pride that is..who told you that ?? You can no more add to the suffering of Christ than you can add to your salvation
Time in God’s eyes is very crucial to understanding His justice also. In the last day when He pours out His wrath on the earth, He specifically states that He is avenging the deaths of all the innocent, the prophets, and the saints. Read Revelation 18 because that is another example of “once for all.”
