“the Bible clearly records Jesus saying “ This REPRESENTS my Body”.............

My bible does not say anything about ‘representing’ my body. In m version Jesus sais, “this is my body”.

Also, In John, chapter 6, it tells about Jesus speaking to his apostles and disciples. He told them that unless they ate his body and drank his blood they would not have everlasting life. The gospel clearly indicated that many did not like what they were hearing and left saddened. Then Jesus asked his apostle whether they were leaving too, and that is when Peter said, “Lord, to whom shall we turn? You have the words of everlasting life.”

Think about it. If Jesus knew that the people leaving were misunderstanding him, would he not have clarified his words? Yet, he did not. Instead it implied that Jesus was also sad as he was disappointed in them.

He called the cup, *the fruit of the vine*.

Also in John 6 He said that the flesh profits nothing and the Spirit gives life and the words He spoke were spirit and life.
