So it looks like English wasn't your first language. Have you ever diagramed a sentence?

First, find the verb. The verb is ‘behave’. The sentence is telling you how to behave. Now, find the object of the sentence. Ask, behave where? In the house of God. So simply, the sentence is to “Behave in the House of God”. The phrase "of the living God" describes the Church, which is the object. The phrase, ‘the pillar and foundation of the truth’ describes the Church.

So tell us, since other organizations call themselves the one true church as well, how is someone to know which one really is?

I have been saying that for several decades. All these cults, including the RCC, everyone claiming that their cult is the only true cult. Mormon, Catholic, and Jehovah's Witnesses doctrines are SO different, and yet they are all claiming to be the only true church. They may ALL be wrong, but in no way, shape or form, can they all be right. No way. If you think these discussions somtimes wear you out, try having a discussion with a member of the INC. That truly is an exercise in futility. I have onky known one person to ever come out of that cult and get saved. Only one. Yet, they say they are the only true church. Hogwash I say. So many cults, so little time 😄😃😇

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

The Church rests on the truth as it is in Christ; not the truth on the Church.

God gave us His word. It is Truth, forever settled in heaven, or which not one jot or tittle will ever pass away.

That word is found in Scripture, which the Bible contains.

The church is built on the chief cornerstone, which is Christ, the word.

Christ said He would build HIS church ..not Rome Catholicism.. that is mans doing.. Christs church consists of all the saved with Him as the head.. He is the Rock
