To: Fester Chugabrew
I take the title of this piece to be referring to the universal (catholic) Church as opposed to the Roman Catholic Church.

That is very magnanimous of you, but by virtue of the fact that the word *Catholic* is capitalized, it DOES at that point mean the Catholic church.

Very well. The Roman Catholic Church has many who confess Christ as the only Way, and those who are not found in Him as lost eternally. This despite the official position on matters of justification before God, which these days is difficult to pin down. The more faithful the Church is in confessing the Truth - and this confession takes place on a wide scale throughout the spectrum of Christianity with a great deal of stubble attached - the more pointed will be the world’s animosity toward it.
