And, persona or person does not come from Scripture - only the creeds!
What does it matter? How else do you understand the verse: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." You cannot argue Christ is a "mask," and thus not distinct from the Father, when the scripture clearly teaches that He is. He prays to the Father, is called "Almighty," and yet is God at the same time. Either we understand it as the Word being both with God and being God, or we come up with polytheism or the heresy of modalism, both of which are easily refuted by the scripture.
