I don’t CARE about why the majority of Protestants don’t attend Bible study or small group.
That’s not what I was questioning. The question was what it had to do with your claim that “many Protestants tend to view the OT as a bunch of stories and songs but with very little relevance to the NT.”
So please answer the question instead of evading it.
How do you know that “many Protestants tend to view the OT as a bunch of stories and songs but with very little relevance to the NT.”????????
What led you to that conclusion? How do you know what they are thinking? Did you interview them? Have you asked them personally and had them tell you that they don’t see the OT as much more than a bunch of stories and songs with very little relevance to the NT??????
I have to laugh every single time the Queen of dodge makes this or a similar comment. Is it mandatory for prots to suffer from memory loss?
So please answer the question instead of evading it.
I did. I clearly stated that my statements are based on my perceptions. To answer your follow on questions, as a Deacon in my church, I am responsible for the new members class and have an assigned set of the church membership to engage. I have talked to both old members to solicit their opinions on what education needs to be provided via the adult education. I have also asked new members to gauge where they are in their understanding so that our church can meet their needs as well. I have sat at round tables with other churches and their ministers and support staff who have also expressed the same opinions.
