I was not born a Catholic, I was born a fallen human being, and someone had me sprinkled in a Catholic church when I was a month old and didn’t have anything to say about it, and they called it baptism and claim that it made me Catholic.
The Catholic church has no authority over me unless I put myself under it’s control, which I do not.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
I’m born again, born from above and any and all marks on my soul have been erased. The Catholic church has no claim on it, no matter how often they say it. They don’t own me.
God does.
God does.
Yep, that about sums it up. Same experience here. I wonder why some people have such a hard time understanding something SOOOOO simple? Maybe they are too busy trying to establish their own righteousness, to understand. Imagine standing before God, and trying to tell Him you led a good life, and you earned your ticket to Heaven. Why would anyone be so foolish they would try that? It's a mystery to me. 🚷🔥😱🙊🙈🙉
You were “born again” when you were baptised in the faith that was started by Christ himself. You denying the truth does not make it not true. Faithful Catholics that know and live their faith do not go looking elsewhere. Impossible.
