A GAY Roman Catholic priest on trial for sex abuse has admitted being shown a child porn film by a close friend.
Tony McSweeney, 68, was father at St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Eastwood Road North, Eastwood, before being moved from the church in 1998, just months after his cleaner found pornographic video tapes at his home.
McSweeney denies molesting three youngsters at Grafton Close Children’s Home in Hounslow, West London, between 1979 and 1981.
He admitted being shown a child sex porn film by close friend and care home manager John Stingemore, 72, and broke down in tears as he recalled his gay and S&M pornography collection at London’s Southwark Crown Court yesterday.

They infiltrated because they knew they could handle not wanting to be married to - gasp - a woman. Who’d think they were having any sex, no woman would ever level that charge at them. Meanwhile they’d bugger each other and nobody would be the wiser. But the homo mindset is to get as much strange whenever and wherever and they like the strange young, and that’s when stuff started to go wrong for their plans. The higher up gays in charge, or straights - bishops/archbishops - enabling/covering up for them would just transfer them somewhere else, until they screwed up there, and had to transfer them again to another unsuspecting parish.
It has happened at a lot of churches.
